Please be advised Demmitt Transfer Station is closed until further notice. This is due to the wildfire, evacuation orders and alerts. County residents not affected by the evacuation order are able to haul waste to the other landfills or transfer stations.
Landfill Hours of Operation
Clairmont Centre for Recycling & Waste Management Open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open Statutory Holidays except Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Family Day.
Last loads of the day - All commercial & residential truck and trailer loads tipping at the landfill face must cross the inbound scale by 5:30 p.m. All customers need to be unloaded by 6:00 p.m. and clear of the scale.
* Please check your dump trailer battery and operation before loading to ensure it works.

Elmworth Open Wednesday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Teepee Creek Open Tuesday and Thursday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
West Grande Prairie Regional Transfer Station Open Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Open Statutory Holidays except Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
